Terms of Use

1. Who runs this

wordmi.com is operated by Murathan Bakti as an individual. Contact: contact@wordmi.com. Full identity and address are on the Legal Notice page.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the site and joining the early-access list you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Joining is free and creates no payment obligation of any kind.

3. The early-access list

• Joining is free and commits you to no purchase.
• Invites go out in order. We guarantee no date, no position and no invite; the schedule and the ordering may change.
• The early-access build may be unfinished. Bugs, downtime, data loss and features changing or disappearing are all normal at this stage.
• Joining the list is not a promise that the product will ship. We may stop or re-scope the project; if we do, we will tell everyone on the list and delete the records.
• You can leave at any time: one email to contact@wordmi.com, or the unsubscribe link in anything we send you.

4. The invite programme

You get a personal invite code and link. Everyone who joins through it counts towards your total, and certain thresholds unlock early-access rewards.

• Rewards are in-product perks with no cash value. They cannot be redeemed for money, transferred or sold.
• Sign-ups made with addresses you control, disposable addresses, automated tools, or on someone's behalf without their knowledge do not count.
• If we find abuse we will not count the invites and may remove the record from the list. We will apply that judgement reasonably and consistently; if you disagree with a decision, write to contact@wordmi.com.
• We may change reward thresholds and contents. No change will retroactively take away a reward you have already earned.

5. Using the site

We ask you not to do the following, and under these terms they are prohibited:

• Sign up with email addresses that are not yours,
• Fill in the form with automated tools, scripts or in bulk,
• Try to defeat the rate limits, overload the service, or degrade its availability for others,
• Attempt unauthorised access, circumvent security measures, or scan the infrastructure,
• Copy the site to promote a different product.

If you find a security flaw, please report it to contact@wordmi.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue legal action over vulnerabilities reported in good faith.

6. The demo on the page

The player, subtitles, glossary cards and exercises on the page are illustrative examples. The sentences were written for this page; they are not quoted from any film, series or other production. How the demo behaves is not a commitment about how the product will behave.

7. Intellectual property

The text, images, mascot, interface design, and the “wordmi” name and logo belong to Murathan Bakti. Personal and non-commercial use (sharing a link, taking a screenshot) is fine. Anything beyond that (reproducing, adapting, or using it to promote another product) needs our written permission.

8. Independence and third-party marks

Wordmi is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by any streaming platform, distributor or production company. Any brand names appearing on the page are used descriptively and belong to their owners.

9. No warranty

The site and the early-access list are provided “as is” and “as available”. We give no express or implied warranty that they will run uninterrupted, error-free, or fit any particular purpose. This does not affect rights consumer law gives you that cannot be excluded by contract.

10. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the site.

That limitation never covers: damage caused by intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, liability under data protection law, or mandatory consumer protections. In Germany, liability for slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties (Kardinalpflichten) additionally survives, capped at the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email everyone on the list before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can leave the list; the only consequence is that your record is deleted.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.

We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and we do not do so.

13. Everything else

• If one provision turns out to be invalid, the rest stay in force.
• Not enforcing a right immediately does not mean we have waived it.
• The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy form part of these terms.

14. Contact
